Other must-see sites include The Louvre - home of the Mona Lisa and thousands of works of art, the Notre-Dame Cathedral - still under construction but worth seeing, the Saint-Chapelle - stunning stained glass windows in a quiet chapel, and I highly recommend a Seine River Cruise - it's a relaxing way to see the city's landmarks.

Take a short train ride to the Palace of Versailles to explore its grand halls, gardens, and fountains. It’s an easy day trip and offers a glimpse into royal life before the French Revolution.

Another great escape from the city is the beaches of Normandy. Just a few hours by train, you can visit the D-Day landing sites and memorials—powerful and peaceful.
