Granada
The greatest gem in the southern-most region of Andalucía. There are no other places that does tapas and flamenco like Granada. This trip was taken in April of 2023.
Feeling the flamenco vibes, tapas cravings, and reminiscing about my semester abroad at the Universidad de Granada — Spain truly knows how to spark wanderlust. And for me, Granada is hands-down my favorite travel destination.
Must-See Spots in Granada include:
The Alhambra – A breathtaking palace and fortress with stunning architecture and gardens
Plaza San Nicolás – The perfect spot to catch sunrise and sunset with views of the Alhambra
Gran Café Bib-Rambla – Home of the world’s best churros con chocolate (seriously!)

Flamenco in Sacromonte – Experience an authentic flamenco show in the hillside caves
Granada is one of my favorite cities for its incredible nightlife and safe, welcoming feel. But the magic doesn’t stop there — Spain is full of diverse destinations worth exploring:
